The Housekeeping Porter plays a vital support role within the housekeeping team, ensuring the smooth operation of daily cleaning services across the hotel. This position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness in public areas, assisting room attendants, and handling the movement of linen, supplies, and equipment to uphold high standards of hygiene and guest satisfaction.
About you and the Housekeeping Porter role
-You will be supporting the housekeeping team wherever necessary, including making beds, re-stocking store cupboards, unpacking deliveries, maintaining the cleanliness of corridors and many more varied tasks
-Responsible for checking all linen cupboards on a regular basis and ensuring they are maintained in a tidy, organised manner and fully stocked
-A good work ethic and team player
-Professionalism and excellent attention to detail
-Enthusiastic attitude with a willingness to learn
-Reliable, Respectful and Punctual
-Forward thinking and problem solving
-Genuine desire to provide outstanding customer service
-Housekeeping experience desirable

-This position will work on a shift pattern, including weekends and bank holidays. Hours will be between 8am-9pm.
