About you and the Hotel Receptionist role:
- Welcome guests warmly and complete check-in and check-out procedures efficiently
- Provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions
- Handle guest enquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally
- Ensure high standards of customer service are delivered at all times
- Manage room bookings via phone, email, and online systems
- Process cancellations, amendments, and group bookings accurately
- Maintain accurate guest records and update the property management system
- Take payments, process invoices, and reconcile daily transactions
- Maintain exceptional levels of customer service throughout the guests journey
- Be highly organised with the ability to prioritise workloads
- Work closely with other departments and teams to deliver a seamless service
- Have great communication with all staff and guests alike

Experience
Ideally 1 year experience in a hotel reception or similar customer-facing role (preferred but not essential)
Experience in hospitality or customer service is advantageous
The position will work on a shift pattern, working 40 hours over any 5 of 7 days, including weekends and bank holidays. Hours will be between 7am-10pm.
