Following our successful opening, and with the business expanding as we prepare for the season, we are excited to announce that we are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals to join our team.

The Chef de Rang is responsible for providing attentive, professional service in a Brasserie setting, ensuring each guest enjoys a seamless and memorable dining experience. This role combines technical service skills, product knowledge, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced luxury environment while maintaining the brasserie’s friendly and lively atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

- Deliver professional and courteous service to all guests, exceeding luxury hotel standards while preserving the brasserie’s relaxed character.
- Present menus, explain dishes and beverages, and provide recommendations.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders and ensure correct timing and delivery.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest requests, questions, or concerns.
- Manage an assigned section (rang) efficiently during service periods.
- Ensure tables are properly set, maintained, and cleared according to brand standards.
- Monitor service flow and coordinate with colleagues to ensure smooth operations.
- Prepare the station with necessary service items and maintain cleanliness throughout service.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the menu, daily specials, allergens, and preparation methods.
- Understand wine, beverage, and cocktail offerings and suggest pairings when appropriate.
- Communicate effectively with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure accurate service.
- Work closely with the Head Waiter and other service staff to provide seamless service.
- Support junior staff by providing guidance and training on service standards and procedures.
- Participate actively in team briefings, meetings, and training sessions.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including mise en place and cleaning tasks.

Strong table service skills with attention to detail
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
Professional grooming, presentation, and demeanour
Friendly, approachable, and team-oriented attitude
Good knowledge of food, beverages, and wine pairings

Qualifications & Experience:

Essential

Minimum 1–3 years’ experience as a Chef de Rang or senior waiter in a brasserie, fine-dining, or luxury hotel environment
Fluent in English (additional languages advantageous)

Desirable

Formal hospitality training or certification
Knowledge of luxury service standards and etiquette
Familiarity with POS systems and reservations
