We are looking for a Breakfast Chef to join our kitchen team, led by our Executive Head Chef Adam Maddock. You’ll be working in a brand-new kitchen at a destination hotel creating breakfast dishes to be proud of. You'll be working 5 days per week, 6:00am - 2:30 pm, including weekends and bank holidays. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about delivering exceptional food and guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook breakfast menu items to order
- Ensure consistent quality, taste, and presentation of all dishes
- Set up and break down kitchen stations for breakfast service
- Maintain high standards of food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness
- Monitor stock levels and communicate ordering needs
- Follow all health, safety, and food safety regulations
- Work efficiently during busy service periods
- Support menu development and daily specials as required
- Collaborate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house teams
Qualifications & Experience
- Proven experience working as a Breakfast Chef or similar role
- Strong knowledge of breakfast cookery techniques (egg cookery, griddle work, batch preparation, timing coordination)
- Understanding of food safety, sanitation, and HACCP principles
- Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and public holidays
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- Ability to work calmly and efficiently under pressure
