Arrive at your own leisure – after all, Christmas is all about taking things easy. You will be warmly welcomed with a steaming mulled wine, freshly baked mince pie, and that friendly Yorkshire charm you love!
After settling into your luxurious room, treat yourself to some well-deserved R and R in our state-of-the-art Spa, The Sanctuary at Saltmoore or cosy up by the fire in the Lounge Bar with your favourite book.
Join us from 6pm for a glass of fizz and a festive three-course feast, served in our laid back yet elegant Brasserie.
Setting the scene for a truly festive evening, the terrace will be lit with roaring fires as a local choir fills the air with traditional songs of Christmas. You can cosy up and indulge in a warm mulled wine, luxury hot chocolate or beverage from our vast drinks menu.
The festivities will begin with a traditional Yorkshire breakfast, perfectly complemented by a glass of Buck’s Fizz.
Spend your time before lunch as you please – head to the breathtaking moors, unwind in our spa or venture further afield to the sandy shores of Sandsend beach. The Sanctuary at Saltmoore will be open from 8am – 5pm, should you wish to take things slow.
The piece de resistance – Christmas Lunch! Our Head Chef, Adam Maddock and his team will serve up a feast for the senses at 12.30pm until 4.30pm. Your five-course lunch will be accompanied by a delicious glass of fizz.
After lunch, you can join us in our cosy Lounge bar and reflect on the year with the King’s speech at 3pm or enjoy a leisurely stroll around our vast estate.
Bringing your magical Christmas day to an end, our Chef’s Festive Buffet, served in the Brasserie from 7pm until 9.30pm will be followed by an evening of entertainment.
Boxing Day is all yours to do as you, please. Enjoy a slow start to your day, with brunch served in the Brasserie from 9am-1pm.
If a day of R and R is what you crave, make the most of our sumptuous spa. For those of you who prefer a bit of an adventure, get your hiking boots on for an exhilarating walk in the breathtaking North Yorkshire moors.
To finish off your festive escape to Saltmoore, join us in the Restaurant for a scrumptious Three-course dinner then kick back and be serenaded by our fantastic pianist Jeremy McMurray.
You will also enjoy a full Yorkshire breakfast before departing.

The Spa will be open from 7:00am until 8:00pm on Christmas Eve and Boxing Day and 8:00am until 5:00pm on Christmas Day. Treatments available Christmas Eve and Boxing Day Only.
