The home of beautiful interiors, an indulgent spa and gym, and memorable culinary experiences - Saltmoore is opening in the coastal village of Sandsend, Whitby, this Autumn!

The historic estate, formerly known as Raithwaite Sandsend, has been completely reimagined and is the site of a £10 million refurbishment of the hotel and spa, part of a wider £100 million development of holiday cottages and lodges.

We are looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Executive to join the marketing team at Saltmoore. This is a great opportunity for someone with a passion for hospitality and marketing to grow and develop their skills in a fast-paced environment. You will assist in creating and distributing engaging content, managing social media channels, and executing marketing campaigns to help boost brand awareness, drive customer engagement and support business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the creation, management and scheduling of posts across social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and TikTok).
• Monitor social channels for engagement opportunities and help respond to customer queries.
• Draft engaging content for blog posts, social media, and email newsletters, ensuring content is aligned with brand voice and messaging.
• Support the setup and management of digital marketing campaigns, including email marketing, PPC (pay-per-click), and SEO initiatives.
• Assist in creation of reports and offer insights on the performance of all marketing tactics using data analytic tools such as Google Analytics and Planable.
• Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Marketing Manager.
• Liaise with internal teams and external partners to help execute campaigns and support broader marketing goals.
• Coordinate awards entries, liaising with relevant departments to create copy.
• Support in keeping the website up to date.
• Assist in researching industry trends, competitor strategies, and audience insights to support marketing planning and decision making.

Qualifications & Skills:
• Experience within a similar role preferred
• Strong writing and communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
• Proven knowledge and expertise in multi-media communications.
• Demonstrable working knowledge of social media.
• Understanding of SEO, PPC, and email marketing principles.
• Experience using Adobe Creative Suite, Planable, Google Ads, Meta Ads and similar.
• Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro or Adobe Premiere Rush is desirable.
• A creative mindset and eagerness to learn and grow within the marketing field.
• Experience using excel for tracking and reporting.
• Ability to work collaboratively and take direction.
